Toyota Finance Corporation provides financial services supporting Toyota customers and businesses in Japan. As financial and management data volumes continued to grow, the finance team needed faster access to reliable information and greater analytical flexibility to support timely business decisions.
The existing environment required significant manual effort to aggregate and analyze large volumes of data. Processing logic was difficult to trace, while limitations in the legacy database made it increasingly challenging to manage complex allocation patterns and provide the level of analysis required by the business.
Toyota Finance Corporation selected CCH® Tagetik to create a more flexible Corporate Performance Management environment. The platform centralized financial and management data and provided configurable allocation logic, transparent calculations, and greater analytical capabilities.
Today, Toyota Finance uses CCH® Tagetik across three key areas: budget control, actual performance management, and lifecycle profit-and-loss management. Budget and actual data can be analyzed within the same environment, while management reporting provides business units with faster access to relevant financial information.

The transformation significantly accelerated monthly finance processes and created more capacity for value-added analysis:

- Faster access to financial information tailored to individual business units
