Avolta, the world’s leading travel experience player, operates thousands of retail and food & beverage locations across more than 70 countries. Managing one of the largest global lease portfolios requires a finance platform capable of supporting complex reporting requirements while maintaining accuracy, governance, and operational efficiency.
To modernize lease accounting, Avolta selected CCH Tagetik Lease Accounting, working together with PwC and Inulta. The project aimed to centralize more than 10,000 lease contracts, migrate historical lease information, and create a single governed environment supporting both IFRS 16 and ASC 842 reporting.
Beyond implementing the standard solution, Inulta developed a custom allocation engine tailored to Avolta’s operational requirements while ensuring reliable data migration, validation, and reconciliation across multiple source systems, including SAP and HFM.
Highlights for Avolta and CCH Tagetik IFRS 16 project:
- Centralized management of 10,000+ lease contracts
- Dual reporting for IFRS 16 and ASC 842
- Custom allocation engine developed within CCH® Tagetik
